To protect our customers, we verify the credit card number, 3-digit card verification number, bank, address, and phone number. If any of these do not match, we attempt to contact the customer. If this is not possible, we do not ship the order and the transaction is reported to the credit card company.

Due to new credit card company rules, we can no longer accept overseas or foreign credit cards. Please email us at with what you would like to order and we will reply with your total including shipping. If you agree, you may send an international money order, a bank check, or wire transfer payable in US dollars as detailed in the email. Please be advised, international customers are responsible for any local customs duties, VATs and excise charges imposed at time of receipt of merchandise.

New York State Residents will be charged applicable local sales tax.

Returns / Exchanges

If you wish to return your purchase within the 7-day approval period, please call 888-385-1747 or 631-385-1747 for a return authorization number. Items sent without a return authorization will be refused. You will receive a refund for the purchase price within 15 days of our receipt of your returned items. Your refund may be subject to a restocking fee of 15% on any new instrument or accessories, if opened. Customer pays all shipping costs for both original receipt and return unless our shipping error. Returned new and used instruments that are damaged will be the responsibility of the person returning the item. Approved returns MUST be received within 14 days or the item will not be accepted for return. We recommend shipping any returns insured for full value of your purchase as well as via a method that provides a tracking number and delivery confirmation.

Instruments returned for exchange, unless damaged, may incur a $15 exchange fee.

For Holiday Purchases, you have 14 days from the Holiday (such as Easter, Chanukah, Christmas) to request refund/exchanges. Policy continues to apply as stated above. Please indicate your purchase is a holiday gift in the "Special Instruction" box on the order form.

Certain items are not returnable due to NY State Board of Health laws. These are: mouthpieces, harmonicas, woodwind recorders, penny whistles, pan pipes and similar items. Certain items are not returnable due to the nature of the item. These are: music books, instruction books, kits with instruction books, videos, cassettes and similar items. Special order items are not returnable. Please note there are no exceptions to non returnable items.


Every new and used instrument has a 30-Day U.S. Regulation Bugle Warranty as well as the manufacturer’s warranty for manufacturing defects only. The 30-Day U.S. Regulation Bugle Warranty includes parts and labor. Customer pays shipping. If you have a problem, please call 888-385-1747 or 631-385-1747 and tell us what's wrong. We will do everything necessary to solve your problem.

New instruments received damaged are replaced or repaired at NO CHARGE. Please call 888-385-1747 or 631-385-1747 or email us at upon receipt to report the damaged item. No merchandise is acceptable for refund after 7 days. Repairs or replacement may be made at the discretion of the manufacturer and/or U.S. Regulation Bugle under the 30-Day U.S. Regulation Bugle Warranty or the manufacturer's warranty. Please call for a return authorization number before you return anything. Without a return authorization number your package will be refused and returned to you.

Used Instruments / Repairman's Specials

Every used instrument goes through the shop and what ever needs to be done to make it play well, is done. The difference in price of used instruments is mostly a function of how shiny it looks. The nicer it looks, the higher the price, but they all play well regardless of appearance. It is the responsibility of the customer to carefully read descriptions and/or inquire about the condition of any used instrument under consideration for purchase.

Repairman's Special Instruments are sold, "as is, no return."

Shipping Costs and Transit Time

We cannot guarantee shipping transit time. All in-stock orders are shipped within 48 hours of receipt, unless otherwise notified. All requests for expedited shipping (Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3-Day Ground) may not be able to be accommodated. Adjustments will be made accordingly. You should receive an email notification with tracking information provided a valid email address is provided.

Shipping cost provided at time of order is only an estimate. Shipping costs are based on method of shipment, weight and box dimensions. Customer will be notified either by phone or email if the actual shipping cost differs from the estimate by more than $10.00.
